Facilities

This home is registered for up to 20 residents providing both single and double bedrooms. There are also areas where residents are able to relax outside their room and entertain guests such as the traditionally decorated living room which has a television and a small collection of books. There is also the neatly kept garden which in summer provides a quiet retreat from indoor of the home.

24-hour around the clock care is given by the staff of carers who regularly check on the resident's to make sure they are comfortable and happy.

Regular health care is an important provision with regular visits from the local GPs, chiropodist, physiotherapist and dentist to maintain the resident's optimal health and other services such as a regular hairdresser.

Not only is health care provided but the residents living environment is kept clean and tidy by the carer and cleaner with laundry being done regularly.

Bathrooms are fully equipped with hoists and handle bars to allow the patient to feel safe and at ease when bathing.

As the rooms are spread over 3 floors, stairs can be quite difficult to handle so there is full lift access.

Residents are given a varied diet of nutritious food consisting of fresh fruit, vegetables and meat with all meals being served in the dining room.

Religious services are also provided with regular visits from the local churches.
