Welcome to Westleas Residential Care Home

Westleas is an elegent Victorian building built in the 1900s which has been providing the highest standard of care for older people for over 25 years. It is situated in a quiet residential area a short distance from the sea in the small town of Folkestone of the Shepway district.

In early 2006 Westleas came under new ownership by Mr Joe and Mrs Sita Bhadye who have both been working as qualified nurses for over 25 years for the NHS. Not only do the owners manage the home but they constantly supervise their dedicated group of staff which consists of many carers, cooks, a full-time domestic cleaner and a maintenance man which allows for the smooth running of the home.

The main aim is to continuously improve the quality of care and the facilities provided to make sure residents are always comfortable and feel at home. Each resident is seen as an individual and is able to exhibit their independence in many ways. Getting older is often a difficult time, going through many changes from retirement to often complete dependence. This is why we are here to make these transitions easier and improve the quality of life.
